The Outer Banks Wedding Association is holding the 19th annual Outer Banks Wedding Weekend & Expo on Saturday and Sunday, January 14-15. This weekend event is the perfect time for brides and grooms to tour locations, meet professionals, and start making necessary plans for their special day! The Outer Banks is a very popular wedding destination, so vendors, locations, and professional services will book up quickly as the year goes on. Make your plans sooner to be sure you get everything you want.
Location
The Expo will be held at the First Flight Middle and High Schools in Kill Devil Hills from 10am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, on Saturday evening from 6pm-9pm the Wedding Tour takes place. The Wedding Tour is a self-guided tour to different restaurants and event locations throughout the Outer Banks. You will receive a map and more information about the locations with your registration packet. The Tour is a great way to check out potential venues and to see some of the possibilities available for setting up your wedding and reception.

One of the best parts about this event is the awesome giveaways. There will be multiple giveaways throughout the weekend, including the main prize – a paid-in-full Dream Wedding to be held at Jennette’s Pier in October 2017. However, if you already have your event location or date set you can enter the 2017 Dream Honeymoon giveaway instead! Each couple will be given 1 ticket to enter either the Dream Wedding or Dream Honeymoon giveaway, but must be present during the drawing on Sunday to win.
